UNIT-e is flexible and powerful enough to model just about any training plan and structure your organisation may require, therefore bespoke frameworks can easily be created to suit your business processes and customer requirements.
Employer contact
To succeed in today’s competitive business environment, colleges and training providers need to maximise their customer relationships. UNIT-e Employer Contact provides all relevant CRM information in a single, easily accessible location with increased functionality. Details stored include multiple contact details, events associated with the college-employer relationship, essential Health and Safety information, placements information for college students temporarily in the workplace and learners who are employees following a college course as a formal part of their employment.
Funding and statistics
Statistical submissions to the statutory bodies are an essential part of life for any publicly funded training provider. UNIT-e provides both the WBL returns for England and Wales as well as the Apprenticeship return made to the National Employer Service.
Audit and inspection
This functionality provides a single, central location for all information needed in preparation for Ofsted inspection. With all data in one place, the powerful and bespoke reporting function can be easily implemented ready for inspection.
Tracking and reviews
UNIT-e offers the features required to record, track and provide evidence that an effective learner review procedure is in place, as governed by funding arrangements.
Individual Learner Plans (ILP)
The ILP functionality allows for learners’ previous experience, knowledge and skills to be diagnostically assessed, training plans built and aims and objectives to be agreed. Progress toward these aims can then be monitored throughout the training period using VQMT.
This UNIT-e integrated functionality provides a web-based solution for the collation and management of student Individual Learning Plans (ILP). Multiple ILPs can be gathered and presented in bespoke presentations. ILP can also manage processes, set review dates and record the outcomes of these reviews, writing information back to UNIT-e.
Learner risk management
UNIT-e Learner Risk Manager's functionality within Capita He’s VQMT solution is used to record risks relating to a learner or course.
A training organisation can manage, monitor and report the progress of a learner if they have expressed a desire to leave education or training. It is possible to record user definable risk type, status, reason, valid to date and a description of the risk. Fully integrated with UNIT-e Student Record and Tracking System, and combined with the power of UNIT-e reporting facilities, the information stored can be used to produce detailed reports and communications using the Internet, email, SMS and mail merge. Increased scope for communications and reporting results in reduced drop out rates and improved retention. If a learner does eventually leave, effective processes are in place with VQMT to ensure statutory communications are sent to the relevant bodies.
