Information Interface
The UNIT-e Information Interface (II) application enables users to design data entry forms tailored specifically to match the business processes of an organisation. The “what you see is what you get” (WYSIWYG) design environment utilises the latest Microsoft technologies, providing a simple, flexible and intuitive form design tool.
Key functions of II are centred on the familiarity of the interface that provides users with a straightforward way to create bespoke forms and thus reports. “Drag and drop” allows any field to sit exactly where needed on a data entry form. The WYSIWYG functionality gives users full control over the design and usability of forms. Extensive controls present data in numerous ways, using tabbed forms, tables and grids, look-up calendars, hotlink controls and much more. Finally, wizards and pro forma migration enable rapid entry screens to be generated based on the content of the tables selected.
The extensive functionality of II increases the speed of data entry as well as the accuracy of data and the precise creation and selection of fields. The familiar feel to this functionality within UNIT-e improves the user experience and accessibility to staff. Built upon Microsoft technologies, II features are constantly being developed so by implementing this functionality an organisation is future-proofed.
UNIT-e II Standard Edition is for users who only wish to take advantage of the new design environment. Designer Tools and Data Fields functionalities allow for basic layouts, fields and pro formas to be created to suit an organisation’s needs. The Tools Box function provides users with options and actions to add to the display and operations of their interface for reporting.
