The essence of Capita’s UNIT-e HR product suite, created within an information interface (II). Core functionality enables staff, post and appointment records to be created and maintained. - Holidays, Absences and Incidents
This functionality creates records, maintains and monitors any form of agreed leave entitlement and absence from work. - Development and Welfare
This application provides the functionality to record comprehensively the progress of staff development. As well as tracking qualifications, experience and memberships gained, it details staff disabilities, next of kin information and occupational health assessments. - Salaries
A salary scale system, with grades entered against the position to apply the appropriate salary. Staff bank details can also be stored securely with encryption. - Payroll Links
Providing vital integration between UNIT-e HR and existing payroll solutions, data transferred ensures correct payments can be calculated and executed. - Staff Contracts
This critical payment tracking functionality is designed to cope with both full-time staff and the most complex issues involving part-time staff. The processing of payment claims can be undertaken via three methods:
By Claim – in which the staff member completes a claim form, including details of hourly rates, overtime and expenses. This is then authorised and deducted from contract hours
By Register - in which the staff member completes their registers in UNIT-e's attendance software and a payroll claim is then automatically generated
By Exception – contracted hours for a payment period is provided and a schedule of payments is then produced.
- Appraisals
This key functionality processes many different types of appraisal (e.g. probationary, annual), along with routines to control the workflow of appraisals. - Life Long Learning UK (LLUK) and Staff Individual Return (SIR)
This provides your organisation’s essential production of the statutory statistics return.
