UNIT-e Tools for EDM

Helping you to achieve and deliver more with less

EDM

The tasks of effectively managing your students and their paper records are continually developing; the expectations of your students increase, while the information and documents you are required to monitor and store securely both change and grow year-on-year.

UNIT-e Tools for EDM  is built on Microsoft SharePoint technologies that enables you to reduced your storage requirements. Documents are scanned and stored into SharePoint where hotlinks created in UNIT-e gives instant access. This allows you to dispose of the original paper documents and in turn remove bulky filing cabinets that take up valuable office space.

Staff have faster access to documents, there is no need to pass paper around, walk to filing cabinets or spend time locating documents. Information can be accessed from anywhere at a touch of a button.

Seamless integration means the problem of inaccurate records and up-to-date data is a thing of the past. Documents are indexed against staff, students and courses enabling the right document to be located.

UNIT-e Tools for EDM allows users to use barcode scanning or manual scanning to upload and index documents into SharePoint libraries, ensuring the most accurate version is available to everyone at all times.
