Overview

Capita Further and Higher Education are delighted to announce the UNIT-e Technology briefing day 2008. Following the success of last year’s programme, we will once again be providing a forum to demonstrate what can be achieved following integration between UNIT-e and Microsoft® SharePoint® 2007, and related technologies.

The programme has been designed to meet the needs of those colleges already working with SharePoint and those who are keen to utilise the strength of using UNIT-e and SharePoint together. The programme will include presentations from college representatives on what has already been achieved using SharePoint and future benefits from Microsoft and Capita staff.

This year there will be two events:

10th October - Edinburgh, Waverley Gate
10th December - Reading, Microsoft’s UK Headquarters

Who should attend?

Our experience from last year suggests that institutions will want to send two representatives, probably a senior manager to consider the business benefits, and a technical manager to consider the infrastructure implications. These may include:

Vice Principals
Quality Managers
Heads of Funding
MIS managers
IT managers
Curriculum Managers
